must be a citizen of the United States.

must not be less than 21 years of age nor more than 45 years
of age at the time of appointment.

You must
have graduated from an accredited senior high school. In
Lieu of a High school diploma, the applicant will need to
have a G.E.D.

You must
pass a physical agility test.

You must
have a valid Texas driver's license at the time of official
acceptance.
|

Applicants
driving record must reflect a history of prudence and maturity
in operating a motor vehicle. Applicants must not have received
more than two traffic citations within the last 12 months
prior to making application.

must not have had your drivers license suspended within the
last
5 years of making application.

You are
required to explain in full any pending lawsuits in which
you are any way involved in.

You must
not be on probation for any criminal offense.

not have ever been convicted of a felony offense.

You must
not have been convicted of any offense involving mortal turpitude;
and the applicant must explain any convictions of a misdemeanor
charge other than minor traffic violations in detail.

had a bad credit history, nor currently have excessive debts
in relation to your ability to pay.

are a veteran you must present your discharge papers at the
time of the civil service test.

selective service board, or any branch of the service, or
if you have a 1-Y or 4-F classification, you must furnish
in writing from the classifying authority, or selective service
board, the reason for the rejection or classification.

and receive radio transmissions, be able to operate basic window
programs, and willing to work any shift (nights,
evenings, mornings,
holidays, and weekends).
